State and county administrators, policymakers, technical assistance providers, grant makers and researchers participated in a December 2014 roundtable on how to increase the use of research evidence in child welfare. This research brief, Assembling the Pieces: Research, Policy, and Practice in Child Welfare, is intended to help advance the conversation about what it takes to make valuable research use commonplace and offer concrete strategies for doing so.
